(Redirected from Thread attributes)
On the Party, threads have different attributes or flags that can either be set by jannies or users.
List of attributes[edit | edit source]
Sticky: These threads are pinned to the top of the board and remain there regardless of activity. Often used for announcements or gemmy threads.
Locked: Closes the thread, preventing further replies. Often seen on moved threads. Rarely done by jannies manually, but if they do it's because they're being selfish little fucks.
Looped: These threads remain on the board even after a significant amount of time has passed and can still be replied to. Used in sharty saving threads as a form of public archive.
Cyclical: Once the post limit is reached, the oldest replies are removed to make room for new ones.- (((Autosaged))): When a thread is autosaged, future replies do not bump the thread. This one does not display an icon, so jannies can autosage a thread they don't like.
Available attributes when creating a thread[edit | edit source]
Also known as Post options. You can check these to enable them before posting your thread.
- Poster IDs: Each poster has a unique code and color that identifies xhem. Useful in raids to prevent derailing and samefagging, since you can hide IDs and replies.
Restricted: Prevents new and banned IPs from reading posts. Also used in raid threads to prevent snitches and nusois.
Images only: As if the name didn't suggest already, only images can be sent in these threads. Most commonly used in Oekaki or JS paint threads.
Desktop only: Nobody uses this.
Former attributes[edit | edit source]
These attributes were available as options in the past.
- Flags enabled: Would show the flags of countries users were posting from, like on /int/ and /pol/. Removed due to potentially making /int/ obsolete.
