Note from Tree

The site is indeed opened time to time but only for beta testers and trusted friends. We have spent time testing the LLMs and image filters, Cascadia tested 'cado to see if it got auto-deleted, the results are very good. Cascadia shuts the site down every night in PST, I dont agree because it's pretty secure now, but he fears something could happen, and I get it. However, things are getting complicated. With Salt owning the 'ru currently, I dont see much point, unless we wanted an imageboard with more security features. I think that PhotoDNA and LLMs could also be included to SoyBooru, if Salt or Mustard considered them. Anyways, the project still continues because we wouldnt give up on something we've been working. Besides, the Nuuru source code is functionally the same, but the site's appearance is changing based on some drafts and ideas that have been taken in consideration. I also wrote the rules of the site. I'm saying this because since the "Hunkcord" leaks, it's obvious I was Tree. I have tried to escape my Persona to start anew, but the truth is, it's likely that im just going to accept who I truly am. The project will die after 1 month? Who knows, but honestly I dont care. I've never felt so alive trying to make something new. Being part of a project is much better than doomscrolling news. Anyways, when the site is back up, im going to detail all new features, but take my word for granted since I'm one of the admins. Regarding the incident in question, I was asleep because the whole thing happened in PST, I was asleep like a trunk because I returned home from watching Spider-Man in the cinemas, and I was truly devastated and shocked when I found out the site shut down due to a raider and someone who impersonated a known namefag to get approver. Cascadia did the right thing, and I believe that you need to cut down trees to prevent wildfire from getting to the rest of the forest. This project isnt mainly to compete now, it's pointless now with Salt, but I think we will try new things to see how user's feel about it. If it's necessary, we will shut it down again in 2 months or so (or less if it's a massive failure), we will admit it was good while it lasted, and instead hand over some of our features to the 'booru. I have no idea what Salt will change regarding the Booru apart from mirror his rules over to the booru (gore relax, porn ban, etc.) and the rules he changed were conjectural and not needed for the sharty to survive, only based on moderation opinion - but I could not see how Salt appeals to Nophonobooru's ruleset. Also good fucking luck, perming people for filter hits is super retarded. Hope you guys endure the next great splinter filter tests
