Although it was quite common to see this early in the Sharty's history, this has grown very uncommon as of present day, as most people who get banned have their post deleted as well. The attached ban message can be customized to whatever the moderator wants it to be, leading to some funny ban messages being attached.

You can fake being banned by simply adding ==(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)== at the end of your post, it looks almost the same.
