Baneposting is a meme that originated on 4chan's /tv/ board, consisting of posting greentexts about Bane from the movie "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises". The meme is known for the phrases such as "Dr. Pavel, I'm CIA", "You're a big guy", "Crashing this plane, with no survivors".
Conflict with Sneedposters[edit | edit source]
Due to being also another large meme on /tv/ it has sparked some conflict with sneedposters. Baneposters sometimes would try to show how they are much better than them, few times /tv/ jannies would even give support to the baneposters.
As /qa/ culture[edit | edit source]
Baneposting is much more of /qa/ culture than sneed as the former was being posted ten times more than the latter. Soyposters of /qa/ often cooperated with baneposters against the native 4cuckers and jannies.
Sharty status[edit | edit source]
Bane was rarely posted on the Sharty until some time in 2025 when it got popularized on /qa/ by a group of namefags. Booru admin Soysneed had once permitted Baneposting memes to be put on the SoyBooru under the NAS tag.
