Gemgender is a snarky snappy neogender in which one's gender is connected to gems or precious metals. This can include anything that looks, feels, smells or tastes[Marge...] like a gem or precious metal, and can also include things like coal.
The term can be used as a broad term or bvmping gems on the log, such as diamondgender, for example. Additionally, gendered terms may be added, such as gemgirl
