To schedule a new dailyjak, go to the relevant subpage with the date you want (syntax is Dailyjak:Main Page/The Dailyjak/MONTH DAY, YEAR) and insert the file. Once you're done, add it to the archive below.

It is a good idea to schedule dailyjaks on non-consecutive days so that you have gaps to add new and topical images in case an event pops up without having to shuffle dailyjaks around. If no dailyjaks are scheduled, the main page will look up to two days ago for older dailyjaks and use those; Otherwise, it will use Dailyjak:Main Page/The Dailyjak/Static. For jannies, mass protection of dailyjaks is made easier, through the Protection Index.

On August 12, 2025, the wiki dailyjak was made global, meaning that it is now displayed on all official Soysphere sites.^[1]

Guidelines

It should be IAS with few exceptions.
Avoid namefag drama. The exception is when a post is EXTREMELY gemmy. Such posts also tend to feature namefags as a concept instead of focusing on one single namefag.^[2]
It should be gemmy. High-effort 'jaks are gemmy but even simple edits can be gemmy (like 'jaks in classic /qa/ which were often basic, funny edits). Use your judgement.
Don't feature your own content if it is not worthy of being featured.
