An inquisitive Sarge.

Sarge refers to the act of saging a thread whilst simultaneously asking for context about what OP is talking about. When one sarges, the thread is not bumped, and the replier (or "sarger") risks the chance that their question may not be answered. Thus, sarging most often occurs when the sarger couldn't care less what the post actually means, and/or he believes that the subject matter pertains to a topic that should not be promoted on that particular board; However, the sarger would not be opposed to learning the true meaning behind the post.

Sarge announcements may or may not be accompanied by a picture of the character Sarge from the Cars franchise.
