Soymmunity

The Soymmunity or Sommunity (Soy Community) is a term that broadly refers to those involved in the wider soyjak culture. Individuals in the Soymmunity are known as soy posters, soyteens, ‘teens, soybros, soyjakkers, soyniggers, 'jakkers, soyjak spammers, and derogatorily and erroneously, wojak spammers or "wojackers".
The Soy Community mainly gathered on the The Party, OnionsBooru, and the Soyjak Wiki, where you are right now. The /qa/ board on 4chan was formerly the central hub for the Soy Community during the Golden Age of Soy, and was where many Soy Duels and other many long-lasting trends originated of the Soyical Arts could be seen and even participated in. The latter board was infamous for its intermittent banwaves against soyposters, though, and it was eventually destroyed in the Great Soyset.
However, the Soypocalypse brought about the short coma of both the 'arty and the Booru, thus making the 109th imageboard soyteens have been evicted from/had to flee. During that time, jakkers remained fragmented and made many splinters while fleeing into sites like 4cuck and even the jarty.
History and persecution[edit | edit source]
After soyjak originated on 4chan, a civilization of early soy custodians arose to guide the new meme through its infancy.
Former homes[edit | edit source]
Soyteens have been kicked out of 109 boards. This is due to widespread antisoymitism and IS NOT our fault.
/int/[edit | edit source]
As the supposed[1] birthplace of soyjak, /int/ served as the first soyopolis throughout 2018. At this point, soyposting was still in its infancy, and was still widely associated with Gigachad posting.
/tv/[edit | edit source]
> | I will add to my account of his earlier 2017-2018 anti-A24 posts that he did not post soijaks much at the time, he made actual arguments, always the same anti-a24 fantasy(?) about how A24 is overrated meme and soiboys think its "slow burn" and thus "friggin superior".
Late 2018 he ramped up the association of A24 to soi, posted these bait charts and all. Summer 2019 saw the peak of his soiposting carreer, and, in my hopefully uncontested opinion, the absolute, indisputable Golden Age of Soiposting. Those were the days, good ol times, truly I do yearn for them. The more avant-garde soiposting was just breaking its shell, the perfect troll, it was new at the time. That's when I converted to pro-soijak (I would argue post-slow burn soiposting and pre-slow burn are a completely different thing), as before I disliked soijak (and hated wojak in general (I still don't post any wojaks other than soijaks)) Now, what exactly drove this man to spam that? Could be genuine mental illness, simple autism with strong views or, very simply, the lulz. Most likely the latter, although the former is not to completely dismiss. |

/tv/ was considered the soyjak homeboard by the inventor of Soydueling and a hub for many 'jakkers in 2019. Attracted by the posts of an appreciator of slow-burn cinema, a growing network of copycats and innovators alike developed.
/qa/[edit | edit source]

The /qa/ board was an ancient wasteland that had been long forgotten by 4chan's inhabitants by the time of Early Soyjak. As a meta board, it had few permanent inhabitants; and as an unlisted boardit was listed doe, it had little moderation beyond serving as a dumping ground for off-topic threads—together, these two conditions made /qa/ a ripe candidate for a takeover by the proto-Soy Community. The earliest known soyduel attempts happened on /qa/ in May 2019, but the greater soy community didn't migrate until a year later, when many escaped from /tv/ as the A24 joke had slow-burned it's course.
By winter 2020, the soy colony on /qa/ had thoroughly grown to the point that it eclipsed both /int/ and /tv/ as the main hub for the Soy Community on 4chan,[2][3][4] thus ushering in the Golden Age of Soy. However, even during this early time of prosperity, the weight of the Janny bore heavy and anti-soyjak banwaves were common.[5] Nonetheless, as a whole, soyteens flourished throughout the years and invented many long-lasting trends of the Soyical Arts.

On November 3, 2021, jannies finally enacted Operation Clean Stable and descended upon /qa/, wiping every thread from the board before locking it forever in an event that is now known as the Great Soyset.
booru.org[edit | edit source]
Main article: SoyBooru (original)
The first booru established by the Soy Community was primitive and deeply flawed in that most posts went untagged and it was hosted out of our control on booru.org. On August 25, 2021, SoyBooru was purged by a booru admin due to light spam. This event permanently wiped out a huge portion of archival effort along with thousands of rare lost-media 'jaks.
soyjak.party[edit | edit source]
Originally made by Soot as a home to lost 'jakkers migrating from /qa/, the site grew exponentially under his and subsequently Kuz's leadership. However, with Doll's inability to manage the problems that have been metastasizing like a cancer throughout 2023 and the recent Soypocalypse, a future for soyposters in the sharty remains uncertain.
