Soyjak Wiki:File copyright tags

Just like every existing Wiki, the Soyjak Wiki (surprisingly) abide by basic copyright law. Description pages of files are sometimes tagged with templates like this:
Templates like this let's nusois know how and how not to use a file, and also where they derived from.
Guidelines
[edit | edit source]- For a file to be considered free, the license must permit commercial reuse, derivative works, and redistribution.
>WOAWW! THESE WORDS REMIND ME OF MUH HECKING C6H6!!
- Soyjak Wiki, Wikipedia, and every Wiki imaginable strongly prefer free files. Where no free file exists, it is sometimes permissible to use a copyright-protected file. Fair use, in the United States, is the legal right to use copyright-protected materials under certain conditions. Wikipedia has its own conditions that are more restrictive than what is legally permitted.
- All copyright and licensing tags should be put on a line of their own.
- Along with a tag, specify the source or copyright holder information. Provide as much detail as possible. Actually you don't have to do all dat shiieet. It is completely optional to specify every single detail and copyright laws of a Gapejak.
- If a file is not licensed under a standard license, please specify what the actual license states.
- If you tag a file as requiring attribution, please specify who needs to be attributed.
- If multiple categories apply to a file, add all that apply.
Creating a new Copyright tag template
[edit | edit source]Despite the other page info templates, Copyright tag templates are the only templates acceptable to be created in an Ambox like style.
Heres an example:
Use this code to help:
{{Soybox
|class=page-issue info
|style=margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; text-align: left;
|image1=[[File:Soyak.png|70px|link=]]
|content=This is a copyright tag.
}}
This code should print this tag:
Of course you can use the aforementioned code to make your own too. Like this:
