Vacant?

[edit source]

Salt having full bureaucrat powers doesn't necessarily mean he is the administrator, just as how Quote wasn't under Cobblestone or Fen, or any other previous examples. So, as is, the position is vacant. Salt said he will eventually nominate bureaucrat(s???) once he thinks the security situation has calmed down. If you guys agree, I'll edit all the relevant pages to reflect the vacancy currently with a little note explaining the situation. Rickert (talk) 01:46, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I assumed that Salt would now be considered the admin given the precedent set with Soot being the first and sole Wiki Admin and owner at the same time. SumerianArcheologist (talk) 01:51, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Soot was long-term and quite clear, this looks like its going to be a short-term security caretaker role more than actual administration. Acting administrator perhaps? Rickert (talk) 01:55, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm assuming this isn't temporary (since the notice at the top says "from now on") and that there won't be a dedicated Wiki Admin for the foreseeable future. SumerianArcheologist (talk) 01:59, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I see. I guess we could call him acting admin like you suggested depending on how long this arrangement lasts. SumerianArcheologist (talk) 02:11, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
We have to ask him to do anything wiki-interface and user-rights(except automoderation) related. So yes, i'd consider him the wiki admin.
It'll probably be outdated soon but constantly editing and updating shit is how 'ki's work i guess. Soyoyuki (talk) 02:08, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
See the change I made here, tl;dr put up Salt, drop a note explaining why. Rickert (talk) 02:11, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
