An Ambox is a metatemplate commonly seen on Wikipedia to add notices to the top of pages regarding the article itself. A very basic Ambox: {{Ambox|text=Text here.}}

Parameters

A metatemplate used to add notices to the top of pages.

Template parameters

This template prefers block formatting of parameters.

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Text	text	The text to show.	String	required
Image	image	A custom image to replace the default one.	File	optional
Type	Type	The type of ambox to use. Defaults to "notice". Suggested values notice content style move protection delete speedy	String	optional
Small mode	small	With this set to "left", the box floats to the left and shrinks. Suggested values left	String	optional
