Usage

Always use the following code snippet when archiving templates!

<noinclude>{{Archived template|reason=Reason here|1=Revision ID}}</noinclude><includeonly>{{Att|Template name}}</includeonly>

Due to limitations with the wiki software, {{Att}} is needed to tell users that the template is archived on older revisions of pages.

Remember also to check what pages use the template, and remove it from them before archiving it.

Description

Pretty self-explanatory. Use this so people can see what deleted templates looked like.

Template parameters

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
1	1	Revision ID	Number	required
reason	reason	The reason the template got archived.	String	suggested
Suppress categories	nocat	Set to any value to disable automatic categorization, making the template purely decorative.	Boolean	optional
