ThE 2026 Soyjak Wiki hack occurred on August 13, 2026, after Cobblestone's account was compromised by an individual known as Trinitite or Trinny through a password reset.[1] During xheir brief reign, xhey essentially tried to ruin the wiki as much as possible. Xhey banned jannies and other active contributors, deleted files en masse, and even redesigned the front page to the "Jarty" Wiki. Shortly afterward, the wiki went offline, displaying a 502 Cloudflare error to anyone attempting to access it.
Eventually, Salt, who had mostly ignored the wiki since the handover, logged in to his account and banned the nigger. He undid most of the damage wrought by xhem, though the full extent of the damage is still unknown, and is being assessed. As a result, Salt stated that he would no longer grant bureaucrat perms to anyone else for some time out of concerns for the site's safety.
Events
Around August 13, 2026 4:00 PM UTC, Cobblestone's account was compromised and used to promote the hacker Trinitite[a] to full site admin. Trinitite proceeded to demote every other bureaucrat, and banned Quote immediately. Afterward, xey uploaded now-deleted furry images
Site goes down
Shortly afterward, the site was taken down. Salt began an investigation into what happened and undid all the damage caused by the hacker, and restored the wiki back in normal condition. He took the role of Wiki administrator till further notice.
He would also leave the hacker's IP (73.66.30.11) on xer userpage, which was then immediately raped to death.🗝️
Possible Identities
Cobblestone
Once the hack began, a very popular theory arose in the community that "Trinitite" was a nu alter ego created by Cobblestone in an attempt to cause drama, defame Salt, or do some gay event that nobody cares about. Many users, including Salt himself, were convinced by this theory. This was, however, proven false, as Cobblestone's (hacked) account had promoted User:Trinny to bureaucrat and later hidden those contributions from the user rights log, making it seem very suspicious. However, Salt officially debunked it, claiming to have checked the logs and found no wrongdoing by Cobblestone.[3]
Fenriris
A theory that Fenriris was responsible for the hack was first circulated on /soy/. Supporters of the theory pointed to several possible motives and superficial similarities between Fenriris and the attacker. However, no direct evidence has been presented linking him to the accident, and those familiar with Fenriris have dismissed the theory as ridiculous nonsense. The dumb nigger hacker is also behind Fenriris' dox as well.
Possible motives
- Fenriris' personal information, including his face, name, and address, had recently been leaked and was being spammed everywhere. Some 'teens speculated that he may have wanted revenge.
- He had also received considerable hostility from 'teens on the Sharty shortly before leaving the Soysphere.
- Some theorized that the attack could have been intended as a final act of retaliation against the Sharty and its community.
Alleged connections
- Both are furfags.
- Both were in California
MarketPliers
Another theory alleges that former moderator MarketPliers hacked the 'ki, possibly as retaliation against Cobblestone and Quotecord after losing her janny status and drama before she quit the wiki. Some speculated that MarketPliers decided to wait for the perfect moment to strike through a hidden backdoor xe put while xe was a janny.
Possible motives
- Revenge for the Soyvil War 5 where xe ragequitted the Soysphere.
- Xe didn't like Salt because he was a transphobic bigot.
- Xe was even more disliked among 'teens than Fenriris.
Alleged connections
- Both the hacker and xer had vivaldi trans furry women as avatars.
- Both were very angry with Cobblestone and Quotecord.
- Xe might have installed a backdoor that allowed her to hack Cobblestone account.
