Archiving/archive.today tutorial
WARNING[edit | edit source]
Most of the following recommendations are broken. There are a few options you have left, use archive.marge.moe and check if the thread is there, you can also simply click Ctrl + S to save the whole webpage, annoying to share though. The way I've found the most effective is Ctrl + Shift + J, then Ctrl + Shift + P then look up Capture full screenshot. You can click it, and it'll get a screenshot of the whole thread.
Archive.today/archive.today (There are other alternative domains if these are down, look it up)[edit | edit source]
The Internet Archive excluded the Sharty. This 'chive is a good alternative as it only removes 'p and pirated content.
Simple archive[edit | edit source]
To do a simple archive, simply paste the thread link into the field that reads "My url is alive and I want to archive its content" and then press the button that says "save". This alone is okay for things like history documentation, especially if a thread is looooong (like this one).
Archiving media[edit | edit source]
If you HATE being stuck with thumbnails, then you can open each original image as it appears in the thread in a new tab and archive each individual link it the same manner you would a thread. You can attempt to archive videos in the same way, but they will NOT embed on Archive.today and are NOT downloadable from the archive.

If you found the text tutorial hard to follow, here's a video tutorial.
