Cooldowns are features that block you from repeating an action until some timer elapses. Most imageboards have cooldowns to some degree, making spam much more difficult.

On the Party

Replying	10 seconds	Flood detected; Post discarded.	Nusoi (imageboard software) will shorten this[it just will, ok?]
Posting	~1 minute	You are posting too fast. Please wait a while before making another thread.	There is also an hourly limit
Supersaging	~2-3 minutes	[Turns into regular sage]	This would be good if the feature was useful and actually moved threads down
