jschan is a modern imageboard software written in node.js used within the soysphere. It is best known for being used on the Jarty.

The software has support for multiple languages, anti-flood & DNSBL, 2FA for accounts, built-in captchas, JSON APIs, and a beautiful bundled frontend with lots of themes and options. It uses Redis and MongoDB for the backend and it also features great support for anonymizer networks (Tor, I2P, Lokinet, etc). Its a good imageboard software, but in terms of trying to fork/customize it falls short.

But, if base jschan isn't enough for you and you want more features and other SNCA shit, you can check the below.

Inevitable Migration

Due to The Great Vichan Crisis (Shemmy getting raped), almost all vichan imageboards that don't run kuz's fork will be forced to migrate to a different software, most likely JSchan.

Currently when it comes to the soysphere, the swinny and the shemmy have migrated.
