DeathJak is a single-elimination tournament designed by Cobblestone that turns shitflinging and soyjakking into a fun competition. The tournament is to be hosted annually (?) on the SoyBooru, and there will be prizes for winning. It works by via a voting system where one winner comes out on top.

Rules

1. All submissions must be OC.
2. No alternative accounts.

How it works

Each round, all submissions are displayed and voted on at once, and once the round is advanced, the bottom 50% contestants are disqualified. This continues until the tournament is a 1v1 and winner emerges.

Initially, DeathJak was envisioned as a 1v1 single-eliminations tournament where two users each have their submissions put to a vote, are reduced to 1 winner and 1 loser each, and then the winners face each other in another series of 1v1s in the next round, until all contestants but one are disqualified. The losers were to be banned either permanently or for a certain amount of time, hence the name "DeathJak." After some test runs, this format was deemed impractical for multiple reasons, such as requiring a very long time to run and leading to most of the site userbase being banned, which led to the tournament being revised into its current state.

Registrations for DeathJak 2026 opened on August 25, 2026. The tournament began on September 1, 2026. The winner will be granted 3000 Boorubux.

The Tournament

Tournament uploads began on September 1, with a total of 127 contestants. Voting for round 1 began the next day, with half (59) of the contestants eliminated.
