Shitflinging is a pastime of many soyteens, and the primary activity of most SoyBooru namefags (and Chuds). Shitflinging is performed all over the soysphere, but is most pronounced on SoyBooru, where it has been at the core of 'ru culture ever since the Italo-Argentine War shifted the purpose of the site from a soyjak archive into a shitflinging warzone (though shitflinging had certainly been practiced on the 'ru before that). Shitflinging may also mean countrywarring or may simply be shitflinging for the sake of it.

Shitflinging nowadays commonly organizes itself around a NuSatoko, and the most prominent wars have been the aforementioned Italo-Argentine War, World War Z, and World War OneShot.

History

2022

Primarily BBC vs BWC related content, inciting chuds and trannies to engage in edit wars for several dozen pages on the booru early on. The Russo-Ukrainian War was also big during this time. Namefags were very rare and universally despised, a stark contrast to today's 'ru.

2023

Italo-Argentine War begins very early in the year, with Sobot adding fuel to the fire by not deleting any material engaging in the conflict. This permanently scars the 'ru and turns it into a namefag shitflinging fest for the next two years eternity. Discussion is banned in late February, but continues again several months later. The war did not conclude until Satoko houjou fan requests his account be deleted. It is currently speculated that all claims accusing Italian Chad of being a Discord Tranny from the QAfe were all projection, with all who opposed him eventually getting permanently banned. Multiple shitflinging techniques arose during this period.

No explanation needed. This technique was originally performed with "above me" but was slowly supplanted by caret arrows pointing at the brapskin ^.

DNA analysis

Usually performed by an anonymous chud (the apex predator to namefags). The shitflinger analyzes and fact-checks their victim's DNA composition and biochemical signs.

2024

Slopjakking goes mainstream after a year, with namefags mocking other namefags through means of projection of their deepest and darkest fantasies. Slopjakking drives many people away from the booru due to slopjaks being "too ugly" and "not funny". This depletion of users primarily leaves slopjakkers and namefag shitflingers as the only individuals using the 'ru. Most of the activity died out by the end of 2024 due to the most obsessed faggots all getting banned for connections with Discord and Pedophilia.

Copypasta spam

This technique was popularized by Warrior-Z near the end of 2024. Although copypastas were certainly used before this, this was the first instance of modern copypasta spam to be employed at such a scale.

Countryaryan gems

Falseflagging countries through [COUNTRY]ARYAN GEM is an important part of 'ru culture. It was popularized by (though likely not invented by) the user jewishautismaward78, who would comment TVRKARYAN GEM or IS THIS A TVRKARYAN? under any brimmy post or post containing a black soyjak or slopjak. Slowly, his method began to spread and is now applied to many different countries.

2025

This year saw the emergence of some new shitflinging metas:

Memorials

The shitflinger attacks their opponent by hanging them and then mourning their death with a long euology. This technique was popularized when it was used against Jimbo during World War OneShot.

^ rapes (object)

Self-explanatory. The namefag is accused of raping some random animal or object. Namefags have been accused of raping air, bricks, snails, vending machines, and more using this technique.

(Namefag)creature

This technique was popularized by Doll during the latter half of World War OneShot. It entailed commenting "disgusting jimbocreature" or some other derivative of the term under posts containing black, trans, etc soyjaks. Doll would also comment the violent fantasies or minor conveniences he would like to perform to Jimbo under some posts.

Comment brapping

On December 6, 2025, boorucucks found out how to break comment section divs through text styling and incorporated this knowledge into their shitflinging routines, giving birth to a new technique.
