January 2010[edit | edit source]
- January 17 - Tea downloads Tinyboard and plays around on it. <-- Who the fuck is Tea?
- January 26 - Tea sees a Wojak for the first time.
February 2010[edit | edit source]
- February 2nd - Tea makes a thread on 4chan /tech/ asking for help on how to set up Tinyboard on a website.
- February 3rd - Tea buys the domain Newchan.net to test Tinyboard.
- February 5th - Tea successfully sets up Newchan. He invites people from /tech/ and Krautchan to test it out. Jolt asks Tea to become an administrator to test boards. The boards created are "/a/ - Anything" "/de/ - Deutschland".
- February 6th - Jolt spams 'P on /de/, however on an VPN. Moot himself bans Tea from the site for 3 months for allowing this to happen.
- February 7th - Newchan's domain is seized by Those Who Glow. Tea explains on Krautchan it wasn't him who spammed the 'P. Jolt finds the thread and asks Tea for his Skype under the thread.
- February 12th - Tea is unbanned from 4chan.
- February 21st - Moot implements post number truncation on /b/, replacing the last 3 digits with "XXX". This causes a great deal of frustration to posters across the entire site.
- February 25th - Tea begins wojakposting.
March[edit | edit source]
- March 3 - A Dutch IP makes a thread claiming that 4chan was "dying" and was no longer as funny as it used to be. Notably, he uses a Wojak to self insert in his thread.
- March 4 - Tea sees the thread and asks /int/ what they would think of a Wojak-themed imageboard. He holds a poll that is ran for 2 days.
- March 6 - The vote concludes. 76 voted yes, and 31 voted no. Tea tells Jolt about it and they begin working on the site.
- March 8 - Tea registers wojaks.net.
- March 9 - Jolt imports Tinyboard to wojaks.net.
- March 18 - An organised spam attack on /int/ by the Dutch IP occurs. Jolt declares that the site is fully set up, with MPA and working admin.
- March 19 - /woj/, /q/, /a/ (Art), and /int/ are added. The spam attack on /int/ ends. 55% of the board's users were banned for a week.
- March 20 - Tea announces wojaks.net on the desolate /int/. The first post EVER is "First" on the new /int/. Jolt congratulates the poster. A user on 4chan /b/ makes a thread telling people to move to the new imageboard. He is banned 3 minutes later, however, around 15 people permanently move to the board.
- March 21 - Wojaks.net is announced on Krautchan with the creation of the board /de/. /woj/ reaches 1000 posts, with /int/ having 700 and /a/ (which was invaded by animefags) having 250. 4chan jannies reban Tea. He later tells Jolt to do the 4chan promotion.
- March 22 - Tea deletes /a/ and replaces it with /am/ - Anime and Manga, and /ar/ - Art. Moot advises people not to visit Wojaks.net. /int/ is locked for 5 days by Tea, to encourage /int/posters to post original wojaks on /woj/. This would be detrimental to the history of Wojakchan, with 30% of the main OC posters leaving the board.
