Why is it suddenly iron now? My opinion

I already posted something similar to this in another user’s talk page, but i think that this article is too positive now. Just because one wholesomerino haxor liked anime, doesn’t make it a gem, and from what i’ve seen on /soy/, most soyteens dislike anime still (with some exceptions THOUGH). You make a fair point here. That being said, I don't think the consensus on the Sharty is overwhelming enough to keep the page's quality template as coal. /a/ has a PPH of ~50 as I write this. Personally, I would propose adding Template:Equinox to the page as is present on the Ongezellig page as to futureproof the page incase the consensus changes and resolve any future disputes. Personally, i still think it should be listed as coal, but we still could change it if the "consensus" changes, that's fine by me. Understandable. Considering GapeNewell has already started on doing such, I'll just replace the mentions of "tranime" on the article with "anime" and do some proper cleanup while keeping the page's soul. Thank you. Fdj (talk) 12:48, 22 April 2025 (EST)

An update - I've went over the catalog on /soy/ a few times looking for anything pro or anti anime over the past few days and, save for a few posts, nothing seems to be too overtly anti-anime. In fact, one of the top bumped threads is an anecdote detailing OP starting to listen to Vocaloid after the hacking. It seems that the general consensus on anime has changed quite a bit since the Soyset. However, considering that there still likely are many people in the Soysphere with a negative outlook on it, I'll be using the Equinox template as the quality rating. Thank you. Understandable. I do however think keeping the page as it is now and simply having the anti-anime perspective redirect at the top of the page is fine enough and futureproofs it to any further change in opinion. Thank you. Fdj (talk) 01:18, 25 April 2025 (EST)
