ack[edit source]

i decided to ack most of the names because i felt like they weren't notable enough, thoughts? Cobblestone (talk) 07:14, 1 June 2025 (EST)

Most of them were basically literal who nobodies so I'm ok with it. It would just be one big wall of text if people kept adding more patients and it would look ugly. A single strand of hair (talk) 07:17, 1 June 2025 (EST)

Regarding ongoing editwar[edit source]

Greetings, CoblonDisciple. I see that you have reverted my edits to the page. Could you please clarify on how my edits are "unconstructive"? Furthermore, please do not continue the ongoing editwar by reverting again until we have resolved this matter. Thank you. Fdj (talk) 15:10, 1 June 2025 (EST)

why are you removing half of the paragraphgs Ilovy (talk) 15:15, 1 June 2025 (EST)
I removed these paragraphs (I do plan on contributing more to the page; probably would have by now if Coblon had not incited an editwar) because they were unconstructive and made the page bloated and hard to read. Editors, in general, must remember that a wiki is not a place to spew out whatever you want onto a page, but to make pages easy on a readers' eyes, unbloated and containing relevant information. Fdj (talk) 15:17, 1 June 2025 (EST)
I know that you're doing this in good faith in order to improve the article, but the sections you're removing are well-regarded by both readers and editors. It would be a good idea to keep them. Cobblestone (talk) 15:23, 1 June 2025 (EST)
Which sections in particular could I re-add? I am looking to find an amicable middle ground here that can be agreed upon by every side. Coblon, please share your input here. Fdj (talk) 15:26, 1 June 2025 (EST)
>removed a sentence which explained the patient mechanic without any reason
>removed a soyjak which is relevant to the topic of the page
>removed a bunch of templates which were relevant to the topic of the page
I see this as nothing more but an attempt to de-IAS the page, which goes against the purpose of this wiki. This isn't the place to force your le heckin' "wikipedia standards". CoblonDisciple (talk) 15:20, 1 June 2025 (EST)
First of all, please do not make unsubstantiated accusations against me. Remember to assume good faith in conflicts with editors. These templates, while somewhat "relevant" made the page bloated and hard to read. There were a total of five pages which undoubtedly made the page much more visually unappealing. The image I plan to add back (or an equivalent 'jak) later on (I probably would have by now, had you not incited an edit war). Also, could you please clarify what you mean by "patient mechanic"? Thank you. Fdj (talk) 15:24, 1 June 2025 (EST)
>and there was an outbreak of HIV which would infect soyteens that get replied to by an AIDSnigger and changed their names to Patient-(Numbers) CoblonDisciple (talk) 15:29, 1 June 2025 (EST)
I have appended a section on the HIV outbreak to the Overview section. Fdj (talk) 15:33, 1 June 2025 (EST)

do this after your edit wars are over[edit source]

HIV isnt spread though mentioning other users, you just have a 70% chance to get hiv when you post i dont really have a lot of proof because it was on irc when i asked mustard but i guess this could be used https://archive.ph/GAQQR

This can't be true because i got replied to in a sticky from before the event and i didn't post at all until when there were hundreds of patients, and my number was below 100. Cobblestone (talk) 15:35, 1 June 2025 (EST)
mayne i asked mustard about it while you guys are doing your own little research
plus i got it without anyone giving it to me Ilovy (talk) 22:45, 1 June 2025 (EST)
also, i did ask if there was such mechanism before (do you get infected by talking to HIV people) and he replied with something like "no theres a 70% chance" Ilovy (talk) 00:27, 2 June 2025 (EST)
70% chance to get infected on replying or 70% chance to get infected when replied to by a patient? Cobblestone (talk) 00:30, 2 June 2025 (EST)
maybe he meant that it's not a 100% to get infected when a patient replies to you. it's 70% if you talk to a patient, not 70% when you post at all Cobblestone (talk) 00:31, 2 June 2025 (EST)
i dont really think so since i got it outta nowhere Ilovy (talk) 00:54, 2 June 2025 (EST)
did you not have a post from before the event that got replied to? Cobblestone (talk) 01:14, 2 June 2025 (EST)

nurses[edit source]

Don't know how they are different from doctors. they can vax people. one user said they used to be one[they just were, ok?], so it can be removed for an unknown reason. another user said the role was gained by asking from someone[it just is, ok?] NanoCoalTube (talk) 01:04, 2 June 2025 (EST)
