Template:On This Day/doc

Displays 'On This Day' events organized by year. Add entries using year-numbered parameters (e.g., 2024, 2025). Only years with content are shown, and entries are automatically sorted.

Template parameters

This template prefers block formatting of parameters.

Usage

This template is used to display “On This Day” style events for a specific date across multiple years.

Add entries using the year as the parameter name. Accepts any numeric parameter (e.g., 1999, 2024, 2030) representing that year. The value should describe the event that occurred on this day in that year.
