redtext and such

All of those formatting features are templates. Templates are prepackaged blocks of wiki code that let you change one or multiple things, like the image in a person infobox. in the case of Template:Redtext the thing you change is the text. use it by clicking Insert -> Template in the visual editor to pull up a template wizard or by typing {{Redtext|text you want to add goes here}} in the source editor. after you pull up the template wizard. in the box in the bottom that says undocumented parameter you'll want to type the name of the variable or its number. go ahead and type 1 and enter that. and it'll give you another box for that new variable (parameter). there you put the text you want and you're done.
