Many leftists started pushing for their own board, they cited that /pol/ had no serious discussion of literally anything especially leftist politics. From the beginning of /leftysoy/ many people were angered by it just for existing. From day 1 there was multiple leaky jannies that would wipe the board, mustard made the description for the board originally “left-handed soyjaks”. This then supposedly gave them the excuse to wipe out one of the only active boards from Board Advent other then /dem/. Most regular posters had given up and the ones that hadn’t would have to post when jannies were sleeping to have actual discussions, one of the only jannies that supported /leftysoy/ was mist. Even then /pol/tards and cobsonTALKS were still attacking the board.
