The 'log at the very beginning of the event

The NASsacre is an ongoing event on /soy/ that began on February 18, 2025, when 9a0c announced that for a test period of 7 days, threads without "a soy" in the OP would be moved or deleted.

Standard for IAS

It appears that the standard for what constitutes NAS might not be as simple as previously thought.

• Soytan appears to be considered IAS, as well as femjanny?
• Frogs that have been edited to resemble soys have been seen getting 'nished. Even though this one was allowed.
• NAS threads padded with soyjaks as a loophole might not be allowed.^{[ev&oe THEY ARE]}
• Since 9a0c's initial announcement states that "a soy" is needed rather than a soyjak, threads with soybeans and soy sauce in the OP seem to be allowed.

Reception

The event seems to be generally well-received even doe 9a0c didnt announce the change after hours of banning innocent soyteens. There is a notable amount of posters denouncing it as a rulescucking but they in turn are accused of being 'cordtroons who would do anything but post soyjaks on the bald men with glasses website.

'jaks depicting 9a0c as a nigger and a slopjak have been made in reception to the NASsacre.
