The Second Great Handover took place from August 5-9, 2026. Quote gave the Soysphere to an as of yet unknown admin. Complications from this resulted in the 2026 outage.

  • Root is possibly gonna be the new admin

  • The new admin has confirmed he will not re-add flags to /soy/, and that while he doesn't want to restore namerolls, he is open to the idea of it.[1]
