Flags are the banners of countries, regions, ethnicities, and ideologies.

They are also icons attached to your post that represent which country you're posting from. On /pol/ and /biz/, if you use a VPN, your flag will have [VPN] next to it. On /soy/, using a VPN will automatically set your flag to India. Also, if you wanna see the entire collection of these flags, check out this page.

IT'S OVER

If you're too much of a pussy to reveal you live in India, you could set a memeflag, which are flags that could either show soylitical parties or sexual orientations. On August 29, 2024, they were added to /pol/, /int/ and /soy/ for a day. They were removed around the time the 1 millionth /pol/ GET was achieved.

They were added for a few minutes during the summer (pre-/pol/ 2 mil GET) and were promptly removed by Mustard, considering them a "mistake" and that they will NEVER come back. They came back for gempassers only for the moment as the default flag in any board with country flags added, a thread in /gem/ was made to suggest memeflags.

Near the end of Quote's reign as admin, flags were added to /soy/, which would display your region of posting. However, occasionally the flags could randomly be switched to India or Israel; while it was theorised that this was caused by having a VPN, this phenomenon happened with non-VPN users too.

Pride flags

On June 1, 2025, LGBT pride flags were added as part of the pride month event. (You) are forced to pick a flag when posting.

/pol/ flags

Like 4chan's /pol/, our's used to have ideological flags, but pertaining to soylitics. After the dekuzification, the Max flag was removed and the Kuz flag was replaced by a trans flag.

Gempass flags

Gempass flags are, well, exclusive flags for gempassers. Requires a Soygem Pass to have one and a custom one. Has an attached Join Date in each flag. Formerly also contained the poster's Soygem Pass UID.
