Seizure GIF
Seizure GIFs, also known as obsessed flashing niggerlights, are animated images intentionally created to induce headaches in people, or even trigger seizures to those who have epilepsy or migraine disorders. Seizure GIFs used to be constantly spammed on the Sharty, and some banners were seizure GIFs, until Quote came into office and got rid of most of them. Besides causing life-threatening situations or a little headache, it can cause disorientation, dizziness, and eye strain if looked at for long enough. Most of the time, they are just annoying and a nuisance rather than being an actual danger to most people's lives. People spamming seizure GIFs usually do it with the intent to make a thread completely unusable, or potentially fatal to a fraction of the population. This product may contain tree nuts. Seizure GIFs have been used extensively since the dawn of the internet. They have been used during zoom raids during the pandemic, when raiding 'cord servers, or generally any website with image embedding. The first case of a mass seizure event of this kind was caused in Japland by a Pokémon episode in 1997, hospitalizing 685 people, and suspending the anime until due notice.
