Pokémon is an A24 slowburn RPG created in 1996, and is a common subject of soyboy's obsessions. It is created by a small indie studio that DEFINITELY does not have the resources to playtest their games or add more content than the absolute bare minimum. Take your meds now.
Relationship to the Soysphere[edit | edit source]
Main article: Operation Pokem-ACK
On February 7th, 2024, there was a raid to chudify Pokémon and make troons seethe. The symbols for this raid were the eeveelutions, with Sylveon, Umbreon and Espeon being the main ones.
The operation ended in a neutral result since there was no clear objective nor any target to be raided and the thread got burned out, with both sides claiming either defeat or victory.
The Sharty is often a boogeyman of /vp/ - 4chan's containment board for Pokémon.
Some Pokémon (see below) bear some sort of vague resemblance to Soyjaks. There are also Pokemon whose themes somewhat align with Soyspeak terms, such as Carbink (which is made of Gems) and Coalossal (which is made of Coal)

- Pokémon Red/Blue - Badly designed shitcode but it's le heckin retro
- Pokémon Gold/Silver - Cashgrab made to capitalize on pokemania, had a bunch of features that got cut in later gens and the worst level curve in the series
- Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire - Le soft reboot o algx, with tons of water and it's also the first generation with remakes of old games for the sake of money
- Pokémon Diamond/Pearl - i herd u liek machamps/zubats/geodudes
- Pokémon Black/White - it's based on america or something and the evil team is just PETA
- Pokémon Nigger Version - GET OUT!
- Pokémon X/Y - Oh my science they let you get the starters from KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Also notable for introducing the literal gem pokemon that is Carbink
- Pokémon Sun/Moon - Unskippable cutscene hallway simulator 2016. Also all the starters ended up being furbait because they just needed to, okay?
- Pokémon Sword/Shield - Only really notable for implementing the infamous "Dexcut" which resulted in a lot of pokemon being removed from the files because a studio with the largest multimedia IP couldn't be assed to implement every pokemon like they did with the past 6 generations.
- Pokemon Legends: Arceus - Takes place during the Meiji Restoration. Player character was sent back in time by Arceus to seek out all Pokémon. Some consider it the gem that saved the Poké-party.
- Pokémon Scarlet/Violet - More shitcode, more dexcuts. There isn't that much else to say that doesn't also apply to other pokemon games.
- Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Takes place all inside Lumiose City. Zygarde o algo.
