Bebestan
Bebestan is a fictional nation that began being spammed on /soy/ in 2025, akin to Lobster Dog. A turkroach by the name of "KOBÇIK BABIIS YALAYICISI" started to spam about this nation. The posts face similarity to modern day propaganda, such as "Cobson supports Bebestan!". The group behind it was prevalent on Steam and 4chan.
Bebestan started in 2017,[1] first as some weird text to speech input rambling, and then it got to babas and babies, and later on mocking third world nationalism by making up a fake country in Central Asia and talking in broken English Creole to LARP as third-worlders. Their main focus on the Sharty was to annoy people and to derail coal posts by posting photoshopped and AI generated Bebestan posts while speaking in nonsense. On Steam, they would queue into games to annoy people with ESL micspam.
Just like soyteens, the group has its own vocabulary and speech patterns. Some of it is for shock factor, some of it is nonsense, and some of it is some larping. It is decentralized and there have been some problematic people, which lead to posts about the group being banned.[2]
After the group was banned off /soy/, the individual running the Steam community for Bebestan seems to have shut it down and deleted everything, making lots of info about this group lost media.
