Lobster Dog was a taiwanese schizo avatarfag on /soy/ who posted random images of dogs and lobsters accompanied with seemingly random Chinese proverbs and quotes that have as much relation to the posts themselves as lobsters have to dogs. Supposedly, Lobster Dog found the Sharty from a /raid/ thread directed at komica, some chink imageboard.

Desoyphering Lobster Dog's posts

The investigation into Lobster Dog's posts started on July 21, 2025. No embedded images were found on his posts, except for, possibly, a soyjak's eye, hinting at a repeat of the Dirlewanger incident.

On July 22, 2025, a 'teen looked closely into one of the photos and discovered a link that led to a website where Lobster Dog put up wordswordswords about being some suicidal chink. The website then changed to a picture of a confused dog looking at bread with this text:

It’s an XBT amount. It’s not for change. He’s very poor."	<

Some time later, a /qa/ thread was created, where he gave out 100$ in ETH which got claimed in a few minutes.

The text on the website was then changed to this:

Afterwards 'teens discovered a (now deleted) /r9k/ post made by him, it featured a poem in chinese. If you translated it and only kept the first letters of each sentence it would show a website called "wouldyoupeta.cat". This website would then redirect to yet another website, where if you used inspect and looked at the X-secret header, you would find a Base64 code that when decoded would link to a catbox zip file that had a password locked PDF file. The hint for the password was "author's name, no spaces". 'teens were trying to guess it by looking up the authors of the proverbs he posted, but to no avail.

A day later a 'teen discovered what the password was after looking up the text that he would post in the comment box for like days. The password locked PDF file would then open up a book called "Infinite Jest", where you could find the link for the final website. The final website featured literally nothing other than a button that would redirect you to a 404 txt file and a schizo riddle that said "Two characters, one letter is wrong". An hour after the discovery of the website it would change to a bunch of nonsense and him saying that he's gonna kill ximself or something and that he'd post 10 keys of crypto in bitcoin/etherium each worth 100$ on the sharty. As of writing this, there are 2 notes on the website that have been read and destroyed. The contents of the notes are currently unknown, however, some speculate that they may have been invitations to the Squid Games. Despite promising to post the crypto keys, it seems like they were never posted and after July 23, 2025 there was no contact from him.

Many soyteens agree that this was a pretty interesting ARG.
