The NSA is widely believed to monitor online imageboards such as 4chan and 8kun/8chan because these platforms have become hubs for extremist content, and what they like to call disinformation (although we all know that many people, even normfags, shed lots of doubt on what government institutions release to the public), and cyber activity. It is more than likely that their operations have begun to intensify ever since the school shootings that were linked to the snarky snappy. A lack of moderation of content on imageboards can and will lead such actions to create threats of making the website a honeypot and essentially a dead nigger. As 8chan, 4chan and many other imageboards are currently honeypots for federal/law enforcement operations.
