Synonymous, also known as Editor and XC and formerly Anonymous SAGE!, is a gemmy SNCApedian known for stopping ‘p spammers and identifying when Dobkun was ban evading on this website and soyjak.party. He hates satanic cults like 764, and is a proud American. He used to be a bureaucrat here, having been promoted from a Sysop a few days after he joined this wiki. He left when Faggot got the site.
He doesn’t identify as anything Soylitical-wise (oh my centrism!!1), but dislikes Quote heavily. He used to be an active user of the Zarty in 2023 and is was formerly a moderator of the Swinny.
The longest and possibly the most influential bureaucrat of SNCApedia, Synonymous reigned as a staff member for 106 days. During his time, Synonymous promoted numerous users (the most notable being John5433), audited numerous changes, engaged with the community, and performed quality control behind the scenes. His tenure on the site marked him as an unofficial head admin and ambassador of the site during GapeNewell's absence up until his demotion, repromotion, and eventual retirement after the Great SNCA handover.
On SNCApedia
[edit | edit source]Synonymous would first join SNCApedia in November of 2025 on an unknown account. Prior to this, he had known about SNCApedia but was hesitant to make an account due to his involvement with the Swinny. Later on, the account would be abandoned and to this day, nobody knows what happened to it, not even him.
In March of 2026, Synonymous would return to SNCApedia under the alias User:Editor, around the time when he was a Soyjak Wiki and SoyBooru approver. Because of his trusted status, he would be promoted to Sysop immediately and on March 9, 2026, his adminship would begin.
When Synonymous joined SNCApedia, it was in a very work-in-progress state. Synonymous was the most active user on SNCApedia by far. During his 3-month rule, he would elevate SNCApedia to a higher status, performing quality control and regularly interacting with the community. This would lead to SNCApedia's peak active user count of 160 users, rivaling the Soyjak Wiki. Controversies (like IP leaking) would arise from his rule; however, he later learned from his mistakes. To this day, these controversies are still brought up, mainly by SNCApedia's detractors.
Eventually, Synonymous would be demoted in June of 2026 by Faggot, who he alleged (and was right about) to be GapeNewell, a Soyjak Wiki janitor. Despite being repromoted quickly after by John5433, the damage had already been done, as he had already left the site of his own volition. The final nail in the coffin would be his global ban on all Soysphere sites, leading to him becoming less active on the soysphere in general.
Regardless of what (You) may think, it is undeniable that Synonymous was influential, and because of this, he has been cemented as a key figure in SNCApedia's history forever.
