Average schlogteen

blog.soyjak.st, formerly soyjak.blog, also known as the Schlog, the soyrum, the 'rum, The soy forum, The 'blog, or the 4m, was a soyjak-themed blog site made on February 29, 2024 by Broot as an alternative to blogposting on /soy/ or /plier/, as well as the sharty's dedicated Q/A forum. It was officially associated with soyjak.st during two periods: from March 3 to 12, 2024, and from June 4, 2024 until it was sold off by Froot, who owned the server, on April 26, 2025. According to Doll, one of the main reasons Froot had sold the site was to keep /qa/ users on the sharty instead of having them migrate to the forums.

It is a forum site built off of the XenForo software, which is the same software Kiwi Farms uses. Like most XenForo forums, named accounts are required to post, making the site controversial amongst soyteens as namefagging is inherent to the website. Inane drama was also prevalent. The Schlog was often likened to a Discord server.

During its existence as an official entity, the Schlog was the most controversial Soysphere site by far. Before its sale, there were over 2,500+ registered members.

Orthodoxy of the site

Almost as soon as the site launched, some 'teens claimed the Schlog to be just another splinter to add on the ever-growing list of heterodox or straight up heretical sites to the One True Site.

The schlog was an official Soysphere site under the control of Froot for a nearly a year, because of this many argued the Schlog was NOT a Splinter, rather a proposition of extension similar to that of the wiki or the booru. THOUGHeverbeit, Froot has since sold off the site and it is no longer officially associated with soyjak.st. Whether or not the schlog is a splinter is up to debate.

Since it was initially part of the Soysphere but now is not, you could say the Schlog is kinda like the Singapore of the Soysphere.

Broot, on the day of the site's creation, emailed Doll about it, and in exchange, Doll accepted to visit the site and make an account. Doll then affirmed that he would personally use it for his q/a and also agreed to help out, on the condition that it continues to run properly and doesn't die out. The site was added to the sharty's topbar on March 3, 2024, making it an official Soysphere site.

However, the inheritor of the chair of St Soot, the aforementioned mango, was not at ease with the site due to its built-in namefaggotry and avatarfaggotry, which he disliked. This led him to remove the [blog] button from the top bar on March 12, 2024, shortly before DOLL stepped down as admin. The Schlog was thus excommunicated. However, as cardinal Root later stated later, the blog was still "unofficially supported". The Schlog's relationship to the sharty is thus one of ambiguity, with other official parts of Soydom suck as the 'ki and SPVA both adding the Schlog in the list of their official links.

On June 4, under "NuAdmin" (ROOT BTW)'s rule, the Schlog was re-added to the top bar, thus ending the excommunication era and marking the beginning of on era of ecumenism and unification.

On July 30, when the Schlog contracted Down Syndrome, Froot stepped in and asked for reparations from Angeleno.

Sale, transfer of ownership and mass migration

On April 4, 2025, two namefag Schlog users, Soyteen Liker and Meursault, announced that they were e-dating and planning on meeting up IRL on the Shiwi, which caused Froot to go on a rant that soyjak.blog is bad or something. This prompted Kiwi Farms members to egg him on to delete it after he contemplated shutting down the website. An hour later, Doll announced that the Schlog was for sale.

MoonMetropolis started a fundraiser to purchase the Schlog and un-rulescuck it. In response, Doll started his own fundraiser to purchase the Schlog and rulescuck it even harder.. THOUGHeverbeit, Froot rejected MoonMetropolis' offer to buy the site.

Some schlog users and most of its staff, dissatisfied at Froot's attempt to sell off the site, created a splinter, the Shroom, on April 20 and shilled it on the schlog. The schlog went down on April 24, with many believing Froot had pulled the plug; THOUGHeverbeit this was so the site could be transferred to non-FDL servers. Two days later, on April 26, the site came back up on a new domain with a different owner.

The schlog is still up at the NuSchlog but has basically become irrelevant, with a significant portion of its former userbase moving to sharty /qa/ or the Shroom.

Organization of the Site

The site, very much like the Sharty itself, was divided into multiple themed boards, where users can create threads and discuss.

There were five categories of boards:

• /q/, served as a board for propositions and problem solving of the site.
• /chive/, the archive board of the site

• /you/, supposed to be the site's parallel to /soy/ albeit without any IAS requirements
• /qa/, an actual Q&A board, where you can ask a stupid question and get a stupid answer.
• /ama/, for notable users to create "Ask me anything" threads
• /jrn/, a board for 'teens to post journals about their endeavors or activities.
• /games/, for forum games, such as the "Even though" game. Occasionally some poor soul gets the idea to expect people to bother with any game more complex than saying some bullshit about the post above them.
• /dump/, containment board where threads that have been completely derailed from it's original topic get moved to. Also where hitler goons his sprunki bbc o algo

Rules

As of January 21, 2025, the Schlog has 6 rules:

1. You WILL NOT post, link to, or request illegal content.
2. You WILL NOT advocate for, promote, or post pedophilia or pedophilic content. This includes posting "shoyta", "soylita" and other pedophilic variants.
3. You WILL NOT participate in or advertise hostile discord servers, telegram groups, crypto projects, etc.
4. Threads WILL adhere to the general topic of the board; they will be moved or deleted otherwise. Derailing does happen, but DO NOT intentionally derail threads with SNCA off site drama or other disruptive content.
5. The blog is SFW. NSFW images and links are NOT permitted.
6. Making multiple accounts is FORBIDDEN.

Culture

Let DOLL decide

Originally started as a way for DOLL to decide on a new janny between Steve and Imperator, it was very common to have people add this to their polls for the absurdity of letting DOLL decide various things about users and their lives. During the time that baqqrih was in charge of ban appeals, some people added a variant of Let baqqrih Decide to their polls as well since he was the head admin.

Adolf Hitler/BBC Threads

A user known as sage on the shlog often posts simple questions in /you/ about Hitler or (his) BBC with a neutralplier attached onto it and nothing else. His threads include: "was hitler a quirky earthbound-inspired indie rpg about depression", "what if the genderbent version of hitler had a pseudo-bbc", and "what if hitler was a boykisser." Despite this being a forced meme, some people have copied this even though Steve typically moves them to /dump/. There have been attempts to ban these threads by other shloggers through /meta/ polls, though none of these attempts were successful.

Breast milk threads

While the exact origin of this is unknown, this might be the first example, asking what race of women have the best breast milk. It spawned different parodies where people argued about it, including one about Miss Circle and Averi.

Hymen claiming and defending

Hymen claiming comes from incel refugees that started copying their "Hymen break!" joke to profiles without any posts. However, some schloggers are kind enough to try defending profile hymens before anyone can break them.

Kingdavey speech patterns

Kingdavey is a soyjak.blog user with a unique speech pattern. He uses the term sexy instead of gem and unsexy instead of coal. However, his most copied speech pattern is saying bro in a specific pattern, usually saying it three times in one sentence.

Ex: Bro wanna do something fun together bro it's gonna be very sexy bro

Gooning to Sprunki

Many users will claim to goon to sprunki as a joke. This can happen on random threads with the phrase "ITT we goon to Sprunki" posted regardless of the topic. Usually, it might also be accompanied by a 5 second clip of a Sprunki song, originally posted to the shlog by qaqorsomething. <<<---meds nobody says that

Terryjak profile pictures

In February 2025, many users decided to make edits of Terryjak (a soyjak variant based on Terrycrews) to use as pfps, being some sort of collective joke. This move was controversial, with some schloggers playing along and liking the idea, while others disliked it and claimed that Terryjak is forced coal.

Pooner obsession

A lot of shlogteens are obsessed over Pooner Takeover Theory to the point where they jokingly claim everyone on the shlog is secretly one. The origins are unknown but it might have been related to the user terrycrews who was known for always trying to act masculine but failing. A thread about this includes the "Shlog Pooner Tier List" which ranks various users on how likely they are to be valid men.

Reactions

Reactions are small little icons which could be attached to any message on The Schlog. They come as a default feature of Xenforo, the service which The Schlog uses to operate. Reactions have been on the site since February 29th, most notably, the default reactions, being True, False, Like, Dislike, Wow and Sad. However, as The Schlog grew, more reactions were added. The first reactions to be added were OMGSISA, Awesome, GEM, AAAAAAAAAA!, Meds, TSMT, Tranny, Angry, GEG, NUTS, It Hurts, Smug, Coal and Selfish Little Fuck. Reactions were cared about slightly before The Reaction Economy Event, often users would prioritize farming them as some sort of pass time, people like princessparkles made it their goal to receive the lowest reaction score and some even made it their goal to receive the highest reaction score, however that would change in the Reaction Economy Event.

The Reaction Economy Event

On June 13, 2024, a newly appointed admin of The Schlog, Froot, was given access to the Xenforo console and planned to do a little Kevin Macleod Sneaky Snitch tomfoolery. He plotted in a Discord Server known as Frootcord what to do, and decided on arbitrarily increasing the values of all reactions and even added some more. The reactions he added were Truth Nuke, Giga, Jartycuck, and Soyak. During this event, a thread titled "/reg/ Reaction Economy General" was created by the users to speculate on which reactions received and deducted the most points. Members of the Schlog quickly figured out that the "Sad" reaction was giving out up to 80 million or more points and quickly used it to bump people's reaction scores up to the then limit, 2,147,483,647, which was indeed the 32 bit integer limit. Some users even managed to surpass the limit and roll all the way back down to -2,147,483,647.

However, the economy event did not last for very long. On June 23, 2024, all Reaction Scores on the site were reset to zero, effectively removing the reaction score system. Reacts are still used on the Schlog today, however, the points system goes completely unused. Users of the Schlog in general positively received this change as it allowed users to use any reacts they would like to use and post without caring about a stupid number. However due to it's removal, it has created a problem that acts more like an oldfag medal than anything else. There exists another feature on the site called "Points and Trophies" which you can get from doing certain tasks, you used to be able to get trophies from receiving reaction score, however due to it's removal, all new users of the Schlog will never be able to receive those trophies, meaning that the people on the Schlog who have 113 points are certified oldfags. It is possible for everyone to receive all trophies and all 113 points as long as they were present for the reaction economy event and have a high enough post / message count.

Members of the Schlog have since run out of imaginary numbers to compete for. A user by the name of "SoytanEnthusiast" used to hold the highest message count before deleting their own account due to unknown reasons, since then and as of Tuesday, 23rd of July 2024, the user known as "Soygoy" has maintained first place in the highest post count, closely followed by "Xiuhcoyotl"

The Return of Reaction Score

On August 8, 2024, Reaction score returned. For a while, some users frowned upon this decision to add it back, however most users got used to it. Today, most users do not care about their reaction score. Users such as Jimbo and DonutHole have some of the lowest reaction scores on the site and it does not seem to deter them from posting. As of January 21, 2025, there are 54 reactions.

Controversy

This pissbaby was allegedly created by a racebaiter.

The Schlog was more and more frequently a target of hatred for /soy/ users during its lifespan. This was likely due to its account requirement (fundamentally against the main site's principles), insular culture far removed from what's normally seen on /soy/, and the presence of insufferable, attention-starved namefags such as Terrycrews and Jimbo. There was also an incident in the site's history where a notable user was discovered to have been grooming another in a Steam chat, and this left a serious stain on the site's legacy; many soyteens would refer to the Schlog as a groomcord after this, and Quote would distance himself from the site.

Furthermore, near the end of its life as an official site, all new accounts had to be manually approved by a janny to interact with any subforum outside "The Hole."
