Some users have called Quote an alter ego of Froot or xhis transition arc. This is on the side of the more believable "fag 1 is fag 2" conspiracy theories due to the way both behave. (evendoe its just a joke)

A lot of people argue Quote is worse than Froot, because Froot, despite having an amount of interactions that can be counted on one hand, cared more about the site that Quote. (albeit quote gemmed up the rules when he first came to power)
