Reporting is a tool on the sharty that allows you to tip moderators about rule-breaking posts, it's a fundamental feature in every modern imageboard & website in general. Abusing this feature on the soysphere WILL result in temporary punishment under certain conditions.

Reporting on the Sharty:[edit | edit source]

  • Figure 1.
Click the tickbox beside the menu arrow on a post, this will turn it blue, therefore selecting the post you want to report. (Figure 1.)
  • Type in your reason in the "Reason:" field. Read the sharty rules before doing this.
  • Click the blue "Report" button after typing in your reason.
  • Done

Urgent reporting[edit | edit source]

  • ONLY use Urgent Reporting in case of illegal content (like Child Sexual Abuse Material or animal sexual abuse material) being posted or linked. We cannot stress this enough, DO NOT USE THIS OTHERWISE.
  • Type in a reason and click the "Urgent Report" tickbox right next to the blue "Report" button
  • Click the blue "Report" button.
  • Done.

Reporting on the Booru[edit | edit source]

  • Figure 2.
Look for the "Report Post" section below the Post Controls section.
  • Type in your reason in the "Please enter a reason:" field. Remember, the rules also apply here, so don't try to send false reports.
  • Click the "Report" button below after typing in your reason.
  • Done

Reporting on the Wiki[edit | edit source]

Please see: Wiki 'p spam

There is no real "Report" option on mediawiki websites because they're all based on ancient code from 2007. But in case of you seeing rule breaking content you can bring it to the jannies attention via their Talk page or by emailing them (only use emailing when reporting unwanted links, pornography, unwanted personal information and illegal material because posting about it on a public talk page will bring more attention to that content!). If you are a rollbacker or automoderated user, you can try manually reverting the edits yourself.

Reporting on the 'cuck[edit | edit source]

Does nothing, unless a janny decides to hand you a 3 dayer for "false" or "misclassified" reporting, even when it's obvious that the post broke the capriciously enforced rules, including the one you reported it for.
