Camellia, Cametek or also known as Masaya Oya by the real name, is a Japanese composer born in and artist September 28, 1992, best known for making speedcore and dubstep music.[1] Despite him being a referent of the genre, he is not a troon and has no plans or intentions to troon out🗝️, and his music is entirely made for entertainment, thougheverbeit he made some remixes of Troony Fox games music (even 'doe it was only to farm shekels back when the game was popular among normgroids). He also linked up with Fox ximself to create some of the soundtrack for Deltatroon chapter 5.

Doven-Camellia

Beginnings[edit | edit source]

He began experimenting with vocaloid to make music in the late 2000s, and during the early 2010s he became an EDM composer that exceeded 200 bpm per minute (barely different from drugs btw).[2]

Style of music[edit | edit source]

To understand his music, you need to keep in mind that he just does cool shit because it is ok? And not because "muhhhh trans allegory society capitalism" or however the jewtubers make 9 hour video essays. Each album he produces revolves around an aesthetic such as Dreams, Space, Sea, Caves, Fantasy and such. Each of his songs start usually with a buildup and end exactly as they started, similar to Massive Attack but it's Japanese. There's always a mix of melody and strong synthetic sounds, and the songs are extremely aggressive, even more than most dubstep music, although they are aggressive due to the complexity of the melody and synthesizers, not because they are noise pollution.

dreamless wanderer[edit | edit source]

PLANET//SHAPER

In December 30, 2014, he released his first album, dreamless wanderer, and yes, it's missing any capital letters because he's an SLF. The most known of this album is Dreamless Wanderer, of course. His musical style would remain the same after the success of this track.

However, the actual BEST song of the album is "Doven", an EDM track that makes even the most SLF nigger wanna jump to the fields to get back to work.

PLANET//SHAPER[edit | edit source]

His most frenetic and powerful album, the theme of the tracks are related to space, technology and high tech shit btw. You can clearly notice the influence of Dubstep in this album in tracks like "Exit This Earth's Atomosphere". One of the album's greatest qualities is how well the sounds of synthesizers and basses mix with the melodic background and fast-paced rythm. Unlike trooncore, instead of feeling like ACKing you feel like fighting giant space robots in space in this album. This album began Camellia's debut in his songs being used in OSU! tracks, but he ironically only became well known in Geometry Dash due to the "Ocular Miracle" level being in development (despite the song not being available on Newgrounds).

crystallized[edit | edit source]

crystallized is the best album Camellia has ever produced. It's the greatest achievement of sound design in Japan and nothing he makes will surpass it. The album decided to opt for a more melancholic and nostalgic tone by using the Japanese Yo Scale sound patterns that evoke such feelings[3] while being even more aggressive on dubstep elements. The theme of the album is based on caves, crystals and the night. This album has extremely good songs such as

Rain of Amethyst (crystallized)
  • Rain of Amethyst (The only EDM track)
  • Artificial Snow (Dubstep)
  • NUCLEAR-STAR (Speedcore)
  • crystallized (Speedcore)
  • liquated (Dubstep)

Other EPs / Collab albums[edit | edit source]

>ITS FUNNY CUZ ITS PORN!
THESE "ALBUMS" ARE LOVED BY GOONERS!Xey have severe porn addiction induced by years of being terminally online clittycels
YOU will NOT listen to these as they clearly are made for fast shekels and do not represent his main style

Since he's a jap and japanese are just asian jews, of course he will profit of gaijin and hikikomoris by collaborating with the latest tranime gacha pachinko game or Hololive vtuber.[4] There's nothing remarkable about these songs as they sound extremely different from his main style because he clearly makes them rushed and leaves the rest of production to the "female" vocalists (that sing like absolute organical waste).

Tera I/O[edit | edit source]

An album that tries to go back to his EDM roots. Only one song is remarkable and it's "Dance With Silence". The theme of the album is terrain and nature.

U.U.F.O.[edit | edit source]

U.U.F.O is his last main album and one of the best, the theme of the album is Space, but this time its more related to psyops and aliens. The best track is CICADA 3302 which is a clear reference to the CIA recruitment ARG program "Cicada 3301" that was promoted online, which was never resolved by the internet. The song lasts 7:16 minutes and its a masterpice of Speedcore, as it mixes real life recordings and samples from radio transmissions and makes an extremely dense fast paced track that feels like a journey through conspiracy theories.
