Ships, also known as boats, are large, self propelled, vessels that generally navigate on water. Ships commonly attract autisticCHADS. They are divided into transport and specialised ships, which includes oil ships, and gas ships (some of them are powered by TRVTHNVKES). Oil used by ships leaves a lot of soot.

Types of ships

Transport

• Cargo - The most frequent used type of water vehicles, due to their cost effectiveness and ability to carry a lot of weight.
• Tanker - Mostly used for oil things.
• Fishing Vessels - fish sticks or something. The difference from trawlers or other fishing vessels is that they are refrigerated and carry a lot of fish.
• Cruise ship - Used for recreational purposes such as living life like having and not giving fuck.

Specialised

• Icebreakers - they break ICE.
• Cable layers - it's kinda obvious what it is.
• Trawler - they are like fishing vessels but different.
• Construction vessels - used to build things.
• Drilling ships - they are used to create oil rigs.
• Supply vessel - they are like allies you meet when escorting Joan of Arc in AoE2.

Military

• Destroyer - Originally named Torpedo Boat destroyers, they were initially made to destroy Torpedo which would attack large Capital ships. They now mostly hunt Submarines while carrying missiles used in battles.
• Cruisers - Initially made as frigates 2.0 intended for operations far from the mainland, now are used to launch cruise missiles to bomb middle eastern kids.
• Frigate - Multi purpose ship used mostly for convoy protection.
• Battleship - No longer in service but were once the most powerful ships in naval warfare. Divided into pre-dreadnoughts and dreadnoughts, with the latter mostly unique for using the all big guns doctrines
• Aircraft Carriers - Carry aircraft, the most important ships in naval warfare since World War 2. Can be powered by nuclear reactors
  • Escort Carriers - Smaller carriers used for more minor operations
  • Fleet Carriers - Large and expensive carriers, very important'
  • Helicopter Carriers - Cheaper, made primarily to carry helicopters but some can carry aircraft
  • Amphibious Assault Ships - Made for amphibious assaults, carry helicopters, amphibious assault vehicles, and anything else which is needed for an amphibious assault
  • Drone Carriers - China is building them o algo
• Submarines - Under water ships, have a million variants.
  • Uboats - Early Submarines used in merchant raids and occasional torpedoing
  • Nuclear subs - Used to carry Trvthnvkes
  • Nuclear sub hunters - Counters the above subs
  • Missile subs - Carries regular missiles, used in more direct battles

Sail-powered

• Sloops - Refers to any ship with one mast, may overlap with other types
• Brigs - Refers to any ship with two square-rigged masts. Were usually used as merchant vessels or smaller warships.
• Catamaran - Initially developed by Polynesians, utilize two parallel hulls of equal size with a sail
• Ships of the Line - Optimized for conventional line battles, main ships of the era, later versions utilized steam power and iron armor

History

Ships were used by monkeys for a very long time. Biggest advancements in shipbuilding were made by a bunch of SEAmonkeys thousands of years ago, who were able to explore the pacific ocean from Australia up to Hawaii.

The next advancements in ships were done by Egyptians and other middle easterns. Their ships were used mostly for trade. Their technologies spread onto all of the area, and reached china. For a thousand year there weren't any significant achievements in this area, until Europeans were able to build a lot of ships that were used for exploration, trade and warfare. Britbongs were most successful in this even&oe Dutch absolutely dominated trade sphere.

The industrial revolution created steam ships, this helped to revolutionize trade and military. This was the era where most soot was excreted. For more than 2 centuries there weren't any significant technological advancements again. Americans were able to put a NVKE into an Aircraft Carrier, and their GPS, cruise missiles, radars created navy and trade world as we know it today.
