not a terrible redesign, even if it's more obtrusive than the old one. Still, I prefer the darkiplier version, and I don't think the "tuff" argument holds much water for this particular argument. Nophono is going to look at the darkiplier template on the ted kaczynski article or whatever and think "WAOW TS IS SO FRIGGING TUFF IN OHIO IM GONNA KILL PEOPLE", it's just pointless pearl clutching here. animated gradient

i think i understood what marketpliers was going for with the red and blue, but it looked less like a police siren and more like a popsicle. in my opinion the idea could work if the background flashed red, went black, then flashed blue. i dont really know any CSS but i could try doing it later Greenfag (Talk) 08:04, 9 June 2026 (UTC)

It would probably be way too flashy in my opinion, notice templates really don't need to be doing all that. I think if I made it fade between blue on the right and red on the left and vise-versa it could probably work. 〜 MarketPliers (talk) 10:57, 9 June 2026 (UTC)

Update, doesn't seem like CSS linear gradients support being faded smoothly between, right now it currently just flashes between the two colors slowly and I'm not sure I really like it. 〜 MarketPliers (talk) 11:09, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
