On August 10, 2024, Hamas 2 created a thread in /rel/ attempting to debunk the fact that Aisha bint Abi Bakr was 9 years old when she had married Muhammad by attempting to prove that she was around 19 years old when she married Muhammad instead.[12] The post was immediately noticed by the likes of mods like Baqqrih and Xiuhcoyotl immediately attempted to derail the thread to be an MF DOOM thread, eventually on August 21, Sparkles replied in defense saying that because Aisha was past the age of puberty, it was allowed in Islam, upon further inquiry from Aedra_222, Sparkles mentioned that the age of puberty was between the ages of 8 and 9 years old for her (c. 2012) and saying that it is ok because it is about age of mind in Islam.[13] which resulted in her getting banned that very same day.
