Flagrolling
Flagrolling is a feature of modern /soy/ where a random flag is displayed on a post instead of the actual flag of the country that a user is posting from.
In July of 2026, the party's jannies made the controversial decision to add flags to /soy/. These flags usually display the country which your IP address is located in, but occasionally, the flag of India or Israel is displayed instead.
Flagrolls are often considered to be the successor to namerolls. A sentient flagroll theory exists, much like the sentient nameroll theory of yester... week.
Some argue that flagrolls aren't actually real, and that the Sharty really does consist of 95% pajeets and Israelis, but this has been heckin' deboonked by Snopes[1]. Indian and Israeli IPs are blocked from accessing soyjak.st because of Quote's clitty leaking about them.
Users with VPNs automatically have their flags set to India.
