The sentient nameroll theory is the theory that the Sharty's nameroll system is either a fully aware and alive humanoid AI system or homunculus trapped/connected in the servers and code of the Sharty that knows the meaning of and controls the nameroll it gives 'teens depending on the content within a thread or reply and its context. An example of this is making a thread about BBC and getting the nameroll of Spadeson or Tyrone. This is attentional control. Trust me, goy, it is just selective attention. The nameroll isn't alive.

Nowadays this theory is practically obsolete since due to the removal of namerolls, although one can make the argument that Salt wanted it gone due to it being a threat to the security of soyteens.

The origin of this theory is unknown, mostly likely because the original person who found out about it was █████████ by those who glow for knowing too much. This theory would also explain a mass "layoff" of employees from cloudflare^[1] and the mysterious reason Admins out of nowhere dropped cloudflare for Soysphere servers in the first place.

The 'teens that mention sentient namerolls can be seen as the Sharty equivalent of the users on 4chan that post their captcha GETs.
