SoyBooru Anniversary
The Soybooru Anniversary, also known as Soybooru Week, is an event celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Soybooru. The event lasts about seven days, from August 3, 2026, to August 9, 2026. Each day features new contests and events.
Events
Mustard promoted Mist to global admin which resulted in the announcement of "THE SOYBOORU WEEK" on the 3rd of August, 2026. An event to celebrate the fifth anniversary.
DAY 1: Soybooru Votes, Birthday Hat Mini-Contest
Several votes were held on the first day by Mist, this included a vote to re-promote Warrior-Z to administrator, give all staff members (Approvers included) a daily salary of 20 boorubux, and promoting jersey to admin.
Both promotion votes ended up succeeding with about 75% of the users voting YES. During the Warrior-Z repromotion vote, users could submit OC to either support the cause or stand against it, each piece of OC equaled to one vote.
A contest to design a better booru birthday hat was also held, the winner of the contest was Rot who received a contest winner role and a grant of 100 boorubux.
Mist also re-promoted Andy back to forum moderator without any vote.
DAY 2: Soybooru Hat Contest, Soybooru Boorum Banner Contest
On day 2 Mist would end up hosting two contests which would last until Friday, users could submit hats for their profile pictures and banners for the boorum, you'd receive 30 boorubux per an accepted hat submission and 50 boorubux per an accepted banner submission, you could only receive boorubux from a maximum of 5 accepted hats and 3 accepted banners.
It was also Warrior-Z's birthday.
Zonky would also hold a Trendy Tuesday with the theme "Doctos"
