SoyBooru Anniversary
The Soybooru Anniversary, also known as Soybooru Week, is an event celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Soybooru. The event lasts about seven days, from August 3, 2026, to August 9, 2026. Each day features new contests and events.
Events
After Mustard promoted Mist to global admin, "THE SOYBOORU WEEK" event was announced on August 3, 2026, to celebrate the fifth anniversary.
DAY 1: Soybooru Votes, Birthday Hat Mini-Contest
Mist held several votes on the first day. This included a vote to re-promote Warrior-Z to administrator, give all staff members (including approvers) a daily salary of 20 boorubux, and promote jersey to admin.
Both promotion votes passed with about 75% of the users voting YES[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?]. During the Warrior-Z re-promotion vote, users could submit OC either in support of or against his promotion, with each OC submission counting as one vote.
A contest to design a better Booru birthday hat was also held. The winner of the contest was Rot, who received a contest winner role and a grant of 100 boorubux.
Mist also re-promoted Andy back to forum moderator without a vote.
DAY 2: Soybooru Hat Contest, Soybooru Boorum Banner Contest
On day 2, Mist hosted two contests that would run until Friday. Users could submit hats for their profile pictures and banners for the Boorum, receiving 30 boorubux for each accepted hat and 50 boorubux for each accepted banner. Rewards were limited to a maximum of five accepted hats and three accepted banners per user.
It was also Warrior-Z's birthday.
Zonky would also hold a Trendy Tuesday with the theme "Doctos".
