Alpha Pepe is a strong, chad version of Pepe that was popular on 4chan from 2014-2015. He bears a striking resemblance to Gigachad.

History

Alpha Pepe is characterized by being muscular, having a chiseled jawline and usually wearing a leather jacket. He was first uploaded to /r9k/ during the era where users were exploring the relationship between Pepe and Wojak, including their possible rivalry.

The first upload was of Pepe walking around with his girlfriend when he notices a homeless wojak in the distance. This explores the popular idea at the time of Pepe cucking Wojak or stealing his girlfriends by having relationships with fem-wojaks. This version of Pepe became known to users as the Alpha Pepe, and various other OCs of the character, including that him and Wojak actually used to be friends but some event in the past made them get distant.

Another tidbit is Alpha Pepe's hero journey to battle and defeat the all powerful Smug Pepe.
