Classical 'jakking is the act of making a soypost similar to one found during the Golden Age of Soy in the current year, usually involving comparatively basic 'jaks/'toss and earlier variants. It is mostly done by oldfags to attempt to mitigate the deviation of Soy Culture to endless dramafagging and incomprehensible wojacks, and has been adopted by many with oldfag dysphoria as a method of validating xemselves. It is considered harmless, and is often SNCA that never gets that many reppies due to its out-of-place nature in modern /soy/. Despite this, it has fostered a few supporters, and many people still do enjoy classical 'jakking threads, doe some newfags will often call them "oldnigger coal".

Despite this, it is still gemmy and refreshing to see something that is similar to what got many into 'jakking in the first place. As such, classical 'jakking is highly encouraged to keep the culture alive and to keep the newfags grounded to what spawned the current culture.

How to do it

A classical post is hard to define, but it is often characterized by a few key traits, such as:

• The use of older (usually pre-2023) variants like Soyak, Gapejak, Markiplier Soyjak, etc.
• Simpler editing
• Less editing in general, and even a lack of awards
• Non-serious nature, a far cry from modern Sharty shitflinging
• Pairing with classic Gigas, though this is less common
• Lack of self-inserting

By making sure your posts follows these common rules, you too can be a classical 'jakker. You should also study older posts to further hone your craft.
