| > | i'm cutting my ties with social media and corporations
that means no epic bandcamp,yt, discord, tw for right now I'm only keeping my patreon up. People say it's typical for me to take things down (this is true) this time the motive different I believe I've become estranged from myself and my art thanks to incoporating the corpos into my practice. It's hard to put into words, but the experience I've had online, the battle between wanting to put my art into the world & wanting to survive... I'm not giving up on art, even though I'm constantly broke... I can't be a different person. I have no career or future anywhere else in the world for me but the one of my own making I have to be in control. Perhaps its simple as their game didn't work for me (like most people in the world) From now on I want to conduct myself differently, that I put my art and myself first and foremost. I don't have an answer what I will do next with myself as an artist, but one thing is clear I no longer want to shake hands with these faceless corporations they can say all the things they want "We put artists first" "we build communities" <~ these are lies. I don't want to be complicit in their game anymore. I have the ability to say no! I'm a human being. |

Jasmine Perry Trollope (b.July 25 1991), better known as /f (THOUGH there are many pseudonyms she's known by)[1] ,is (or was? no telling honestly) a niche RYMcore experimental/glitch artist based in Los Angeles, California best known for being absolutely unknown, as she tries her absolute best to make her image as incomprehensible as humanly possible. Her style consists mainly of incomprehensible post-trooncore coupled with margerald samples manipulated to being near-unrecognizable, though she has dabbled in more normal genres like IDM, microhouse, classical, etc., albeit also being chopped and manipulated into vomit.
As of 2023, she has taken down most of her socials, all her websites and delisted her music from all platforms including her Bandcamp, citing "becoming estranged from myself and my art thanks to incoporating the corpos into my practice.".[2] While being primary known for making RYMfags leak, she also has dabbled in painting, filmmaking, and game development, creating the A24 slow burn visual novel ARCHANGEL:NEMESISnot a ip grabber i promise teehee, sadly only available through archives, as she has taken down the itch.io pages for both episodes.[3]
Biography[edit | edit source]
Trollope was born in an unspecified place into the Church of Scientology, her and her family serving in their Sea Organization (inner circle of Scientology;the leaders) until she escaped at 20.[2] She writes about being "heavily impregnated with crystals" while working at a call center (metaphor for her being trans? idfk) and one day writing down "the stable datum is you are an artist"[4][5], setting her course for life from there on out.
Scattered comments on RYM allege that /f may be a potential lolicon🔒, though I have personally have found no proof of such depravity.
Music[edit | edit source]
While her releases date all the way back to 2013, she didn't obtain real fame until 2016's The Fourth Bully, a favorite among RYMfags. Comprised of 77 minutes of pure electroacoustic fuckery and Dadaist themes, it is her most accomplished work to date, scoring #59 on RYM's 2016 charts.[6] One notable thing about The Fourth Bully is its physical releases: it only exists on exactly two formats, the first and rarest being a 4 GB SD card packaged with a dried tortilla, a random E-METAL part, and a stripped alligator clip in a doodled-on antistatic baggie,[7] and the other being on a handmade cassette with extra tracks, each being limited to 6 and 10 copies respectfully. Other notable releases (and that's a stretch) include Laugh Crou and Recovered Files, both released in the same year, and The Fifth Bully in 2021.
Her only reported live performance was at a virtual show, headlining for 2024's Golden ConejoBeat[8], a series of virtual raves held on a private island in the aspie pedophile playground known as Second Life.[9]
