Keyed
Keyed🗝️ and Locked🔒 are replacements for the terms based and cringe respectively, with their original users being rather unhappy with the usage being co-opted by the mainstream internet they formed many alternative ways to call something good or bad. The adoption of these new terms is that if based and cringe aren't considered based anymore, then keyed and locked will still be considered keyed. Despite not being the only word promoted to replace based, keyed has become the only relevant word left with it still being prominently used around 4chan and the Soysphere.
Other, now archaic vocabulary include platformed, schway and quisit. All of these are no longer used or forced by anyone. While previously considered a forced meme by some, keyed and locked are now considered official soyspeak words. Gem and Coal are also believed to be spiritual successors to Keyed and Locked, as Keyed and Locked can still date their origins to 4chan, while gem and coal is true and honest soyteen slang.

Keyed originated on /v/ in late 2020,[1] and was initially spammed on both /v/ and /tv/[2]. As more of the mainstream internet began adopting the word based into their online vocabulary, keyed was in and based was out.
