It is comprised of four members, Puff-Puff (Lead vocalist), Benatar(Keytarist, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist), Axel(Drummer), and DeeJay (DJ). Together they write songs about all kinds of topics, ranging from toxic relationships to a girl that has exceptionally large breasts.
Studio LadyBug was the first animator for YFM. The studio was in production until August 2011. (They later returned to the project in 2022 with the start of a new phase.)
During the years they were active, they were the #1 most subscribed music channel on YouTube and sold over 1.2 million songs on iTunes.
Cosmic Toast Studios(the animation division of Maker Studios) began working with YFM in 2011, but the partnership ended in September 2012 after the original project was cancelled.
Unfortunately, the project was retired in late 2012 after a dispute between Ray and his network, Maker Studios, which lead to the cancellation of the album they had been working on for nearly a year (originally planned to release sometime in 2013).
On May 15, 2022, Ray William Johnson uploaded a video announcing a revival of YFM, which was “Martian Multiverse”. YFM is now 100% owned by Ray William Johnson as of 2022 and is no longer affiliated with Maker Studios (now rebranded as Disney Digital Network), that originally went defunct and then revived and then went defunct once again in 2019
