Voice Chat (stylized [Voice Chat (n)])[a] Most of the time referred to as VC is a feature where you can get datamined and talk to soyteens through voice like how you do on the loli Discord server. This expanded the possibilities of threads and allowed everyone to hear what other users sound like It's all people with a dollar store mic rubbing their mic on a pillow while their dad is watching TV at 104% volume. Dedicated VC chat threads have been made and participated in, including games and topicless chat rooms which effectively killed all activity on the boards and made some soyteens go to the niggerhell that's discord.

Upon release, detractors condemned the feature as an import from Discord. There is also a problem with micspammers, who can be muted or unmuted. They can rejoin to circumvent the mute, requiring users to mute the micspammer again. If there are multiple micspammers, this quickly degrades the quality of a voice chat.
The plus side of voice chat[edit | edit source]
It is thought that Sharty voice chats might decrease reliance on der cord, since teens won't have to use it to voice chat. Though this hasn't been peer reviewed. They can occasionally be fun if there are 3 or 4 people, no more no less. This is because the echoes, noise, and talking over each other increases exponentially as the number of chatters do. You may have a conversation more effectively with few people
Victoriolis Effect[edit | edit source]
Named after Infamous and banned user Victorio. Users who initially have conflicts with each other while chatting on the messageboard will often become friendly once they spend some time in the VC together. This is theorized to be due to the removal of anonymity and a reminder that the text on the screen you were previously seething at, is actually a just a fellow soyteen.
